Brandenburg 1729. The King of Prussia Frederick William I. considers 17-year-old musically interested crown prince Frederick to be too effeminate.
In the dashing lieutenant Hans Hermann von Katte he presumes to have found a tough drill master.
Though in the heart of the crown prince grows a longing for freedom and individuality. Frederick simultaneously struggles for Katte's love, for his father's recognition, and for the possibility of living a self-determined life. But these desires do not fit together. Frederick has to make a decision.

But when Nena hooks up with Pfeffi-Werner (Christoph Schmidt) and Sunny meets the cop Liv (Lana Cooper), their life can't go on like before.

Eva ist schillernd und lost und Jonas will sie retten. Marie will raus aus dem Zirkus. Ihr Freund Marc ist vielleicht ein Schisser. Und dann taucht Karl auf und hat Bomben unter den Fingernägeln. Es kracht.
Alle suchen in einer exzessiven Nacht nach Antworten, nach Auflösung, nach dem totalen Rausch, dem absoluten Höhepunkt oder nach einer Liebe, an die sie selbst nicht glauben. Sie tanzen, trinken, rennen. Aber fünf ist immer einer zu viel.
